Congratulations to these pupils who were awarded their Gold Mathletics certificate in assembly this morning. A massive well done-we are proud of you all.
Mrs Gill also encouraged all of our pupils to aim to earn 1000 points each week by completing some Mathletics activities. Week by week the boys and girls can then work their way towards a gold prize or some are close to achieving a diamond prize!!!

It’s been a busy week for the School Council!
They’ve been setting up the Valentines Postbox and delivering all the cards around the classes, as well as getting their first edition of the Glasswater Times ready to print and deliver. All the pupils were given a copy of the newspaper today - they hope you enjoy reading all the latest happenings at our wee school!

Congratulations to our We Really Shine winners for January. We are so proud of each one of you!
We had great fun in the playground for Number Day as we celebrated the 100th day of the school year. Our pupils all dressed with a digit and completed lots of 100 challenges as they jumped, skipped and scored to hit the 100 mark! In the classrooms we were working with numbers in Numeracy and raised a fantastic total of £123.50 for NSPCC.
Thanks to all who donated to the worthy cause.

We were delighted to welcome families and friends to our Christmas Carol Service in Lissara Presbyterian Church. Our pupils were simply superb and full of joy as they welcomed, read, sang or played their instruments to remind us all of the reason we celebrate the season.
Special thanks to Rev Burke and Lindsey for all their help and support and to the PTA for providing such lovely refreshments afterwards.
A Fantastic Festive Feast
A massive thank you to Rita, Mrs Thompson and the staff at Ballynahinch and Saintfield Schools’ Kitchens for preparing and serving Christmas dinner to our pupils today! The boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed their food before the traditional Glasswater Christmas Conga into the playground!
