• Year 5 visit Carrickfergus Castle

  The boys and girls in Year 5 had a great day at the castle yesterday. We learnt lots about what it was like to live in a castle in medieval times and got to try on some of the armour and hold some weapons! A super time was had by all!

  

• Our New Library Books Have Arrived!

  Today the school councillors unpacked boxes of new books for the library. The shelves are now full of lots of wonderful reads chosen by the pupils! Thank you to all who supported our Valentine's Bear fundraiser which enabled the School Council to order more than 50 new titles for the library.

  We are learning about measuring this week.  Our teacher set the challenge to build a tower with just spaghetti and play dough.  Some were more than 4 hands high. We also made some fantastic creatures.

  

• Raising money for Comic Relief with Crazy Hair

  It is warm enough to have our snack outside and we got to come to school with crazy hair!   We raised £102 - well done everyone.
