  We are beyond proud of our choir who sang Carol of the Bells on UTV Live at 6 tonight  We are so grateful to UTV for an opportunity the pupils will never forget and to Rosemary and Lindsey for working with the choir.  #smallschoolbigheart

  

• Santa visits Meadow Farm

  Santa took a few hours out of his busy weekend to meet lots of the boys and girls from around Crossgar at Meadow Farm.  This lovely event for the whole community was organised by our PTA.  We’re so grateful to this creative, talented bunch of people, to the big and little elves who helped Santa today and to everyone who visited. A special thanks to the Orrs for their kind and very generous hospitality.  A fantastic £433 was raised, #smallschoolbigheart 

  

• Carol Service 2019

  Our annual carol service was a joyful, festive delight for all who attended this afternoon. The children in P3-7 were fantastic as they read, recited poems, played instruments and sang to us. Well done to all involved. Special thanks to Rev Mark Spratt for sharing in our carol service this year and to the PTA for organising refreshments afterwards. #smallschoolbigheart

• Film crew come to Glasswater

  The UTV film crew were in school today to record our school choir. Their performance will be shown on UTV Live next week. We will confirm which night the recording will be broadcast so you can tune in to hear the sweet sound of their singing! They were simply wonderful today, a real credit to our school. Thanks to Lindsey and Rosemary for all your hard work and effort to get the choir ‘TV ready!’ #smallschoolbigheart

• Competition Winner

  One of our Year 5 pupils was presented with a polo shirt and mug from Down Academy Pipes and Drums, after winning a competition to design their logo! We think the design looks fantastic and all at Glasswater are so proud of her! Well done! #smallschoolbigheart
