Today we welcomed Eimear from Golf Ireland to Glasswater who delivered golf taster sessions to our key stage 2 classes. These were thoroughly enjoyed by all and some super putting skills were on display!

P5/6 had lots of fun using foraged materials and some recycled ribbon to create a festive sustainable Christmas tree. There was lots of discussion about how we can reduce, reuse and recycle our waste to our benefit.

All prospective parents are welcome to come along and bring their child/children with them to our school open afternoon.

Congratulations to our first Gold Mathletics winners of the year! In another few weeks, Mrs Gill will be presenting the next Gold winners with their awards….keep working hard to earn 1000 points each week boys and girls to get a Gold Award! Mathletics is a great way to practise your Maths skills!

Our School Councillors are delighted to announce that a fabulous total of £229.60 was raised for Children in Need today. Thank you to everyone who baked, provided buns/face paints or who donated so generously to this very worthy cause!

We are so grateful to Mrs Corriston for organising a Christmas craft club for our pupils.
