Eco-committee Assembly
Wed 13 Mar 2019Thanks to Mrs Butenis and our wonderful Eco-committee for organising and leading a special assembly today. They reminded all our pupils and teachers the importance of thinking ‘green’ and looking after our environment. We are excited about the upcoming activities that they have planned in Glasswater over the next few months. #thinkgreen #begreen #dogreen

World Book Day 2019

Girls Hockey Tournament
Wed 27 Feb 2019Our hockey girls did us proud today at the Ulster Schools Tournament at Friends School in Lisburn. They played well and enjoyed their first tournament as team Glasswater! A huge thank you to Mr Owen, for giving his time and coaching the pupils both today and each Thursday afternoon!

Moneysense Workshops
Thu 21 Feb 2019Moneysense workshops were happening in Key Stage 1 and 2 classes today. Thank you Richard from #ulsterbankni for coming in! The pupils all enjoyed learning how to use their money wisely, make good choices and stay safe.

St. Joseph’s pupils come to Glasswater for Shared Education
Mon 11 Feb 2019Shared Education at Glasswater today involved a training session with a coach from Ulster Rugby, designing a new iPad game using coding and getting to know our friends from St Joseph’s a little better! The Year 5/6 pupils have had a great start to their week!

Year 5/6 Shared Education
Mon 04 Feb 2019Year 5/6 had a great morning at St Joseph’s for some more Shared Education. Continuing with our ‘Health and Well-being’ theme, we had an energetic session of Gaelic football and learnt more about looking after our bodies, with Conor from Sentinus.

Award Winners at Glasswater
Fri 25 Jan 2019This week we celebrated pupils’ successes and progress in each class. Mrs Corbett was delighted to present some awards for handwriting and Mrs Gill congratulated this month’s ‘Amazing Mathematicians’. Well done boys and girls!

Shared Education at Kingspan
Mon 21 Jan 2019Our Shared Education journey began today for the P5-7 pupils. We met up with our friends from St Joseph’s for a fantastic tour of Kingspan rugby stadium and we also completed a fun coding workshop designing a new iPad game. A great day was had by all!
