Film crew come to Glasswater
Wed 11 Dec 2019The UTV film crew were in school today to record our school choir. Their performance will be shown on UTV Live next week. We will confirm which night the recording will be broadcast so you can tune in to hear the sweet sound of their singing! They were simply wonderful today, a real credit to our school. Thanks to Lindsey and Rosemary for all your hard work and effort to get the choir ‘TV ready!’ #smallschoolbigheart

Competition Winner
Mon 09 Dec 2019One of our Year 5 pupils was presented with a polo shirt and mug from Down Academy Pipes and Drums, after winning a competition to design their logo! We think the design looks fantastic and all at Glasswater are so proud of her! Well done! #smallschoolbigheart

Christmas Dinner Day
Fri 06 Dec 2019Glasswater enjoyed their Christmas Dinner this week with fun, laughter, dancing and the traditional Conga around the hall! Specsavers Help Us Stay Safe

Choir to sing on UTV Live at 6
Thu 05 Dec 2019We are absolutely over the moon to have been asked to sing on UTV Live at Six just before Christmas . The choir were practicing this morning and sounding totally incredible. New Playground Toys
Wed 20 Nov 2019Today our wonderful school councillors organised all the new play equipment that they ordered for the playground! All we need is a dry day to get out and enjoy it!
Thank you to all who supported last year’s fundraising, as this money was used to buy new toys for the pupils to enjoy at break and lunch each day!
Playground Pals will also be on duty each day to play alongside their fellow pupils. Thank you School Council.

Children in Need 2019
Fri 15 Nov 2019A million thank yous to all who gave so generously to this year’s Children in Need fundraiser. We raised a brilliant total of £181.20! Thanks to our school councillors who were kept busy today painting faces and counting money! #smallschoolbigheart
