We Really Shine at Glasswater

Congratulations to this month’s winners of the We Really Shine awards. Mr Milligan was delighted to present these boys and girls with their certificates in assembly this morning. Well done one and all!

We love to celebrate the achievements of our pupils.  This morning Mr Milligan gave out awards for music, drama, being a good friend, resilience, achievement and a good attitude to school. #smallschoolbigheart

Congratulations to all the Mathletics and Reading award winners from last term! We are so proud of you all! 

As a new term begins, we encourage all of our pupils to keep reading lots and completing Mathletics activities each week. Mathletics, Reading Eggs and Accelerated Reader are fun and engaging ways to help our pupils practise and hone their skills in these areas!

Our pupils lead our annual carol service beautifully this afternoon. They sang, read and played their instruments with confidence, filling the church with much festive goodwill and cheer! Well done boys and girls-we are so proud of you all.

Glasswater pupils were delighted to sing some carols alongside some pupils from Cedar Integrated Primary School at the Christmas Family Day in the War Memorial Hall this afternoon. Thanks to Crossgar Community Association for organising this event and inviting us along….and for all the lovely treats!

Our dinner hall was bursting with festive cheer today as the pupils enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner followed by the annual Glasswater Christmas conga line!

We are so proud of these superstars who ran in the second round of this year’s Flahavan Cross Country League this morning in Donard Park, Newcastle. Well done to you all! Thanks to Pamela and Rebecca for helping with transport to the event and for cheering the pupils on!

At the end of another busy month, Mr Milligan was pleased to give out some We Really Shine Awards to these wonderful pupils this morning in assembly. Well done boys and girls from all at Glasswater!

The school councillors would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated to this year’s Children in Need fundraiser. They are delighted to announce that a fantastic total of £241.20 was raised for this worthy cause!
