We were delighted to have Colin Tinsley from Hope for Youth Ministries with us this week. Pupils from Year 1-7 very much enjoyed singing, listening to Bible stories and taking part in quizzes each day! Thank you Colin - it was great to have you back in Glasswater.

Our Year 7 House Captains were elected today. They hope to lead, inspire and encourage their fellow housemates to earn lots of house points this year and be the very best that they can be!

This afternoon, Mr Milligan and some of our Year 7 pupils passed on the sympathies of our school community to the Royal Family, as they signed the book of condolences in Crossgar. We also held a special assembly this morning to reflect on the remarkable life journey of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

This pair of superstar sisters each received their Gold Mathletics award during the summer break! Congratulations girls, we are so proud of you!

Mathletics is up and running again for each class this year. Each week the boys and girls should aim to earn 1000 points to get a bronze certificate, as these will build up to a GOLD!

Leavers’ Assembly 2022

Today, along with family and friends, we celebrated and said farewell to all the amazingly wonderful pupils in Year 7 with a special Leavers’ Assembly. Well done boys and girls-you are all superstars!

“We don’t want this day to end….”

When you hear these words you know it’s been a great day! Our Year 7s had an absolute blast today as they paddle-boarded and played laser tag at Strangford Lough Activity Centre. They finished off their day out at Delamont before returning to school for some chips!

Lots of smiles, laughter and fun featured as the boys and girls made memories with their classmates and friends.
