The pupils who achieved their Gold Award in Mathletics last term were given their prizes today. Well done to each one of them! For 4 of these pupils it is their 2nd Gold Award this year which is a fantastic achievement!
Remember to log in to Mathletics each week and aim for 1000 points. I wonder how the next Gold winners will be?

This year’s Carol Service is a festive, feel good array of songs, readings and poems performed by our fabulous pupils. You will find our video on our Facebook page Glasswater Primary Crossgar.
To get a glimpse into just some of the wonderful learning experiences our pupils receive, have a look at our Open Night Video in the Children section of the website. It’s in the Gallery.
Today our School Councillors were delighted to receive a letter from NIE. In our lower playground, the pupils are continually losing footballs as they are easily kicked over into the substation. So the School Councillors wrote to NIE to ask if there were any solutions to the problem.
There were smiles on the faces of many this afternoon as the pupils heard that NIE will visit our school soon to discuss how the substation can be changed to one with a roof! Thank you to all those at NIE who have helped us with this matter!

The pupils have voted and our new house captains have been elected. Today Mr Milligan was delighted to present our successful Year 7s with their badges. Each of them hopes to lead their house to victory by being an exemplary role model and by encouraging the members of their house to be kind, respectful and to do their very best to earn lots of house points. I wonder who will win the ‘House Cup’ this year?
