Congratulations to our We Really Shine winners for November
We warmly invite you to come along on Tuesday 6th December to experience what our school can offer your child - a learning environment with a child-centred approach where we seek to enable each of our pupils to believe in themselves and achieve their full potential.

Thank you to everyone who donated to this year’s Pudsey Appeal. We had a great day in school wearing our PJs and ‘comfy’ clothes, getting spots painted on faces and taking part in the live Children in Need Moodboosters session.
A fabulous total of £176.50 was raised for this worthy cause! Well done everyone.

Congratulations to this group of pupils, both past and present, on gaining awards from the Ulster-Scots Agency for their achievements in drumming and piping. They attended a special ceremony at Stormont Buildings to receive their certificates this evening.
We are very proud of you all-well done! Thanks to William and Barney for tutoring the pupils each week and encouraging them in playing their instruments.

Congratulations to our ‘We really shine’ award winners for October. They received a certificate and prizes from Mr Milligan at our assembly this week.
As part of our Harvest celebrations, our amazing PTA encouraged us to bring in a pumpkin. We were delighted to be able to display them in the playground overnight so that everyone could get a look at them as they walked down James Street. #smallschoolbigheart
Thanks to our PTA chair, Kelly McCormick, for the photos.
Harvest Food Bank Appeal
The Rev and Mrs Smyth called in this afternoon to collect the donations for the Kilmore & Inch Parish Food Bank. Many thanks to all the pupils and their parents for the items sent in…our aim was to fill a shopping trolley to help local families in need and we did just that and much more!

We were delighted to welcome the Minister of Education, Michelle McIlveen, and her colleagues to Glasswater today. She had a walk around the classes, met with the School Council and chatted with Mr Milligan and some members of the Board of Governors. She also helped the Eco Committee plant a tree as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy - as a memorial to honour Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

This morning our school choir and Year 7 pupils led us in a special Harvest assembly. Well done to all who took part!
Generous donations from our pupils and their families have filled a trolley of items for the local Foodbank. Thank you so much....this will make a difference to some local families in need. Our harvest appeal will continue until Friday 21st October, so anyone who wishes to contribute still has time to do so.
Meet this year’s Eco Team! We have lots of great plans. The work has already started. We also hope to transform an area at the back of our school.
