Our pupils enjoyed a day in their comfies to read their favourite books and do lots of fun book-related activities in their classes today as they celebrated World Book Day. Mrs Wilson organised a special assembly and reminded us all of the many reasons we should read and enjoy books!

This afternoon we enjoyed our first afternoon of Hockey Club in the playground. The boys and girls enjoyed getting to grips with the basics of hockey today and are looking forward to developing their skills in the coming weeks!

As a new term begins, we encourage all of our pupils to keep reading lots and completing Mathletics activities each week. Mathletics, Reading Eggs and Accelerated Reader are fun and engaging ways to help our pupils practise and hone their skills in these areas!

Our pupils lead our annual carol service beautifully this afternoon. They sang, read and played their instruments with confidence, filling the church with much festive goodwill and cheer! Well done boys and girls-we are so proud of you all.

Glasswater pupils were delighted to sing some carols alongside some pupils from Cedar Integrated Primary School at the Christmas Family Day in the War Memorial Hall this afternoon. Thanks to Crossgar Community Association for organising this event and inviting us along….and for all the lovely treats!
